Tim Marks, founder of The Marks Law Office, has a wealth of experience in employment law and business litigation. His expertise spans the entire field of employment law, including sexual harassment, racial harassment, employment discrimination and retaliation, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, wage-and-hour laws, non-compete agreements, and employment contracts. His clients benefit from his work in litigation, litigation avoidance, and consulting.

He has advised clients of all sizes on how to approach potential litigation -- as a plaintiff and as a defendant -- utilizing his knowledge of contract law, torts, federal and state statutory schemes, and the workings of the court system.

Tim has successfully handled cases in state courts, federal courts, and municipal courts, as well as before state and federal agencies. He is a member of the Missouri bar, the Kansas bar, and the Society for Human Resource Management, as well as the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and its Labor and Employment Committee and Sports and Entertainment Law Committee. Tim is also a member of the Arthritis Foundation and the Alumni Association of the University of Kansas.
